Console help. (possible slight spoilers)

Post by AmpaSand »

Well i've heard that anybody (not just house telvanni) can comple the "ash yams" quest for mistress therena(or whatever its spelt) but I have aurials bow and there is no chores topic avalible.

SO: How would you use the console to add that topic (add or anything else required)

Note: Am norse, Lv 20 ish and in house redoran if thats needed.

PS: Already searched forums and net and tried several supposed commands but none were specific to this probolem or just plain jury rigged. None worked

So am looking for exact answer to my problem. (sorry!)

AmpaSand, I don't recall any console commands that put entries in the journal, or remove them. There are a few mods out there (assuming you're using the PC version) that offer to add/remove journal topics/entries. I've tried two, but the journal itself is rather buggy, and they only worked about 50% of the time. You might look at Tom's Quest Collator or Jason Robinson's Journal Helper, if you're interested. They can be found up at Elric's.

1. Open console
2. Left click on Therana
3. Type in
AddTopic "Ash Yams"
4. Close console

Might work, but adding topic doesn't always.

I see. My error. :) Galraen notes the only console command to do that I've heard of, and as he says, it doesn't always work. I would suggest that if it does work, save, and restart.
