About buying KotORII (Xbox)

Post by Mithrandere65 »

Where's the best place to buy KotORII, I've looked everywhere (Best Buy, EB Games, Wal-Mart, Target, GameStop, etc.) and what's the price on it currently (new or used)?

Go to either Gamestop or Half.com. It's $12.50 on Half.com and $18.00 at Gamestop. But if you have a Gamestop card it might be worthwhile. Personally I bought mine from Gamestop, but I've bought many games from Half.com as well. I have a few from EB games as well.

I just looked and you can get it for $19 new on Amazon or $13 used. You might also want to try looking on Ebay.

I recommend buying any game new, unless you personally know or live near the seller. There's always a chance that you'll be sold a ripped off copy of the game, minus nice addons (like a manual), or tech support, or the ability to upgrade with patches. And this is happening more and more, thanks to some pretty sophisticated marketing of pirated games.

Note, Amazon is something of an exception, because you can see the previous history of each seller, and can report them to Amazon if they don't come through.
