Magic characters...?
Ive noticed that mage characters severly lack any gained knowledge in this game, ive been playing for almost 4 yrs and still dont no jack ****, so if any one could give info. to make a good character, or any items that would help out, it would be greatly appreciated!!
I do not really understand your question. If you're asking for advice for a mage-character, I'd suggest this:
Elf or Half-Elf.
Background: Only child.
Get your CON to at least 12 or something, to get a decent Fatigue regeneration.
INT at the very least 12, so you can maintain 3 spells simultanious.
Max DEX (more speed = more action points = more spells) and WILL.
Take the Necromantic White (Healing), Fire (Fireball!), Force (Shield, Lightning, Disintegrate), Divination (Identify), Conveyance (Teleportation) and Temporal (Haste, Tempus Fugit).
This will grant you a character that can ID every item, deal with those pesky elementals, haste himself, teleport around the world, heal himself and is very resistant to damage thanks to his Shield spell. You'll probably only have one teammember, but Virgil is pretty decent. You can also invest points in summons.
I'd suggest starting by putting points in Force & Necromantic (White), then Fire. Also, put two points or so in Melee, that way you have a backup.
I hope this helped.
