merchant quarter informant rescue *poss spoiler*

Having problems defeating thugs in Fihelis house - I am fighter 6 and sorcerer 2 I have neeshka and khelgar and the sorceress in my party. I get through about two groups and then just get mashed. Oh! forgot to say i have joined city watch! any ideas how to defeat them? First time playing NWN2 and any help would be great (apologies if this has been discussed but i tried searching and couldnt find anything :o )

Is this one big battle for you? If so, you can probably be a little more careful about where your companions go, and try to fight the thugs a couple at a time. If you need to, exit the house to rest.

Yeah or just lower the difficulty setting for this fight.

These guys sneak attack so try not to let them get behind anyone.

AOE's not so good against rogues. Try direct damage spells and mind spells with your casters (rogues have low Will saves).

Load up Khelgar with healing potions and have him soak up most of the damage.

If you want more strategies I can recommend something more specific.

thanks for the help! I loaded up my character and khelghar on healing potions and made khelghar lead the battle and i stood back and cast spells and healed party where necessary. Took them a few at a time and, though still a hard fight, was victorious in the end. I also decided to save after each skirmish, which helped, and then rested before the fight with Moire (which was bit of an anti-climax after the tough fights beforehand!!).

i often run this mission when my character 's level is 9 (wizard 5/eldrich knight 4). and i also found, our character's AC must up to 25. otherwise we will eazy be killed by thug.
