Gamestopping bug in 3.7 basic?

Post by shadow9d9 »

I have patched with 3.7 basic and just killed the brothers.. It sends me back to lacroix and instead of progressing, the dialogue is back to being about telling him the sarcophagus has just been stolen.. even though in actuality, i just got it back for him! Any ideas?

Have you applied the whole patch and then the basic folder or just the basic folder alone? In the latter case you will get trouble. Check the value of G.Story_State in the console, it should be 60 and not 65...

Yes, just the basic folder, I thought this was the way to install just the basic one... so should I change the g.story_state to 60 instead of 65? Where is this file located?

I tried to type in g.story_state into the console and it came up with an error.

It's case sensitive: G.Story_State. But I would recommend installing the whole patch first, then the basic patch like it's supposed to be and then continue. Otherwise there could be more problems...
