Post by Klorox »

SPOILERS!!!

Transmuters get a bonus in the underdark with a high Alchemy skill. But how high does it have to be?

TIA

Thanks. I guess it's only a 9.

I'm kinda pissed that I've missed out on some early easy XP. Oh well.

there are some quests that seem like ive never encountered them

eg

You killed Goublika for Illium Ar'Ghrenoir. 1900
You browbeat Goublika for Illium Ar'Ghrenoir. 2850
You convinced Illium Ar'Ghrenoir not to launch an attack on Goublika. 4275

where was that?whos goublika..? i dont think i've encountered that part.

[63FYNNE.DLG] Fynne
For being unwitting pawns in a test. 750

???????????

You have exposed Koluhm's attempt to cheat Cahl-Hyred... and revealed that Koluhm only cheated HIMSELF. The irony! 450

I've never seen the Goublika quest. He's the verbeeg leader of the Fomorian giants at the crash site who are throwing boulders at the militia captain. I've always killed the giants before moving on to talk to the rangers and druids.

The "pawns in a test" thing is in the Severed Hand. You get the XP for killing a wizard's experiment. I think it's on the second or third level, north side.

That thing with Koluhm is in reference to the ghost-touched bottle and the Weeping Widow quest. After you've identified the bottle for Cahl-Hyred, take it back to Koluhm.

I never would have thought there was that kind of a quest for Goublika. My party first hears the cries for help from the Cpt. that fell, and I figured it's urgent to stop the giants from constantly pelting him with boulders. There's no dialogue options, and the giants automatically attack. It seems strange that while the giants are throwing rocks at this guy that your party can carry on and chit chat with the Andorans and then with Goublika. I also think it's interesting that Heal doesn't return the Cpt. to complete health. When I cast Heal on the dude in the docks with the broken arm in the Prologue, his arm is still kinda weak and still needs a potion of "minor" healing. When my party gets pretty damn low, Heal seems to do okay for them. Seems a bit silly.
