NPC (Follower) limit

Post by !iLoveRaven! »

...hi i'm new here. I just wonder if there's a way to hack NPC limit. I know that it depends on Charsima stat, is there any script made that hack Charsima level limitation to be able to have as much NPC's as i want?...i'm just saying this, because i'm not satisfied with the maximum level of followers, that game ORIGINALLY let us have...i want like 14-15 followers at a time or 10 atleast! so if anyone knows if there a patch or hack - please tell me...i know there's already patch like this for fallout 2 so...its not impossible in my opinion...but if it doesnt exist someone should really make one cause its not so difficult...

the main reason why i want this is that i have MUCh MORE than 6-7 (max allowed amount) of followers that i like and offcourse i cant stand the fact that game wont let me have more then that...so thats why i asked about that...

Please use EDIT to add to the last post, when you don't have important new content requiring viewing. Thanks. :)

No you can't have more then 7 followers.
There are the free characters. that don't take characters slots

Even via editing its impossible to break the 7 followers limit. I know since I tried the exact same things. If you wish to make a big ass army you should use the dominate will permanent trick.

sorry, but it sounds like BULLSH*T i know that originally i cant do anything to increase follower limit...all i'm saying is that we need some HACk i mean REAL HACK, a HACk - that can change the whole thing about a game ! do you get what i mean...i played several times in Fallout2 and someone have created script for the charisma stat that just disbales Charisma LIMITATION so that we could have infinte number of followers...and i'm clearly sure that its not so difficult to hack maximum ammount of followers...maybe it could be some way difficult, but not as difficult as you're talking about that...

I guess you're up your own then. Arcanum modding isn't very active anymore (unlike fallout modding)

Here is a edited line from effect.mes file.

{67}{dx +1, be +1, cn -1, repair -1, firearms -1, picklock -1, armtrap -1, magicpts +1, maxfollowers +15} // race_half_elf

In this I raised the maximum followers you can have to 15. However in game it will always result in 7.

Sure there might be a way to hack it beyond the 7 but like I do not see it happening anytime soon. The House Of Lords :: Index this might be the best site with the most active modders for arcanum.

Your right bro, i shouldnt have phrased it the way i did, but i feel that 7 is enoug. Once ur character is lvl 30, u really dont need more than 1-2 people anyways, i juss feel like even 3 takes away from the fun, but thats my opinion and ur entitled to urs.
