Thanks for the info, Chris. :) At least we know that there is nothing in common with Uthar and Sion. ;)

Whether or not Sion died in KOTOR II is kind of irrelevant. What does that have to do with Uthar and Sion being the one and same? I think you plucking at straws a bit, i mean why do you think Uthar is Sion? Just a hunch? I don't see any solid evidence to suggest he is. Appart from

Well Wookieepedia says Revans canon is lightsided Male so he must have done the lightsided choice and killed Uthar and turned Yuthura to the light but I may be wrong.

Because all Dark Lords of the Sith change their name. All except Revan and Malak. And the early Lords didn't either: Exar Kun, Ulic Qel-Droma, Tulak Hord, Marka Ragnos, Naga Sadow, Ludo Kresh, Freedon Nadd, and so on.

Wow... That makes no sense

Uthar Wynn isn't Sion! sion first off was spawned during the mandalorian wars in trayus academy. he is a sith assassin. he only went to korriban because the exile went there. uthar was killed in naga sadow's tomb and revan sealed it when he left korriban. plus, when i played, i slaughtered uthar with thermal detonators, he wouldnt look like he slept with vibroblades, heed be fried.

Sion didn't go to Korriban because of the Exile, he was there before the Exile landed.

Good point you brought up there. Malak and Revan didn't change their names when they went over to the dark side. The same can be said of Count Dooku. It just makes me wonder whether those who did go for a name change did it voluntarily instead of being required to do so? ;)

Could be a possibility. Then again, it wasn't mentioned in the game. If I recall correctly, everybody, be it Sith, Jedi or the local populace, always kept referring them by their respective names so I assume that they are for real (just affixed the titles after they defected).

Where the heck in the story is it meant that Uthar Whynn is Darth Sion? It's really starting to annoy me all these characters that turn back from the dead. What's next? Kreia and Malak in Kotor III?

THat's not correct, it looks like the first sith to change there name completely is kreia (to darth Traya). Exar kun didn't ulic qel dorama kept his, revan and malak, and all the old ones...and thats all of them, until later.

Sion stuff

When the factions of the Sith on Korriban turned on each other after Darth Malak's death and Revan's disappearance, Sion was one of the Sith Lords that escaped to the Unknown Regions of the galaxy. It seemed he had escaped to Malachor V, where he became the apprentice of Darth Traya, a former teacher of Darth Revan when he was a Jedi. For his benefit, Sion was a Sith Marauder.

Sion was a uniquely powerful Sith Lord, having learned the ways of pain in the Trayus Academy on Malachor V. Torturing and killing others helped him enhance his strength in the Force, and his ability to feed on his own pain and hatred made him all but immortal, as when he was struck down, he could always arise, feeding on his agony. He was also a lightsaber master, and arguably the most infamous and deadly Sith Assassin of the era. Sion was known to be responsible for the deaths of countless Jedi during the shadow war waged by himself and Darth Nihilus.

However, the alliance between Traya, Nihilus, and himself could not last forever. Sion and Nihilus attacked Darth Traya at the Trayus Core and as such, exiled her. Sion and Nihilus continued their shadow war by sending assassins after the last known "Jedi"—an exile who had served under Revan during the Mandalorian War. This is from Wookiepedia.

So it says buddy boy escaped from Korriban and didn't die at Malchor 5 during the war. He came back to learn there. I don't think it's Uthar but maybe. Also baldness and deep vocies are pretty common.

i dont remember where i read it so dont ask me but i seem to recall reading a thing that said Revan and Malak were not their real names... i read that Revan and Malak were their sith names and they had given up their old jedi names...

i think it was on wookiee about the darth title... i dont remeber tho.

or you know i could just be totally wrong.

Uthar struck me as a more... refined sith. kinda like palpatine... you know soft spoken, extremly smart yet wickedly effecient at being a very good sith.
where sion strikes me as someone who would just as soon kill you as look at you just kuz he didnt like you.

as des said a while back sion seemed more thugish and rage filled then Uthar...

lol and i think ur spelling his name wrong because , my kotor game spells it as ulthar?
anyway , darth sion could have been his master, or could have been the hermit , because as you guys we're saying, sith's darth names are actually different...
HK-47: Can I break his neck now master? It's been a long time fantasy of mine...
Revan: Maybe later...
