Lol...sure you dare...
Im a physiotherapist and I work at the local hospital here in town. During the spring, autumn and winter it's usually pretty busy, but at the moment (summer vacations) I meet about 3 patients a day...
The rest of the time (6 hours) I spend surfing the internet and trying to make time go fast so I can finally go home and...err...surf the internet...

So what's been happening here lately? A lot of old-timers coming back?
Then why aren't you posting more here?
(Thank the Internet, no sites are blocked from my work )

Sounds like my day... but replace seeing patients by lifting boxes full of sausages...

Conscience my friend...
Nah...if I'm totally honest I guess I got bored and tired out of doing tedious work such as cleaning my desk 5 times a day, sorting papers etc etc...
Spending time on the internet is much more fun...and..umh...much more educational...

I suppose if you are writing a PhD dissertation on "human nature" (whatever that may be) it is highly illuminating to spend time on the net.. but otherwise....
Somewhat more seriously,
I'm never quite sure whether the internet encourages stupidity and obnoxious behaviour or if it is simply the fact that there are lot of stupid, obnoxious people in the world and the internet increases their visibility

I find there are quite a lot of stupid, obnoxious people on the street. I'm sure people there make me a lot angrier than people on the interweb.
On another note, I was forced laugh: ) to sign up to Facebook recently, and I'm always quite bemused by people who, say, I knew at school, if not particularly well or was particularly friendly with, add me as a friend. And then they don't send messages saying, "Long time no see," or anything like that... What is the point?

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that in reality, the human brain is quite adept at blocking out the stupidity. Online, it becomes more like a violent, obnoxious assault on the senses... Much like Bloodstalker...
