Heya Steve-O! My welcome to you to these boards. Don't post here too much, or you will become weird with a questionable sense of humor. Like me! But post here from time to time, while always looking objectively at the forum, and you will be just a-okay. Unlike me! :D

And if you read something about "golden speedos", just log off and lay low for about a week. Just to keep you sane, you understand. Yes? Excellent.

Hello Steve11. I'd like to share my thoughts with you to.

First off, that isn't the best opening line.

Second, it will not allow you to score.

Third, there are many ways of sharing thoughts. Do you plan on acting them out and linking to the video feed? Perhaps you plan on writing, which is hard to believe given the intro which was received.

Fourth, a singular person's thoughts are generally unimportant. The time has passed when a single person can change the lives of the rest of the world by thinking up something intelligent and running with it. Now is the time when you must think of something that the idiotic may use to become lazier, which requires moderate to low intelligence, and extreme greed, negligence, and the desire to see anything non-human be abused and used. Why do you seek to share your thoughts then?

Fifth, thought sharing here is done in a simple manner. Don't irritate the locals, or they shall mock you in a manner which is designed to provoke and aggressive response should your thoughts differ from theirs.

Sixth, enjoy your stay. ;)

Am I the only person wondering why it is that every internet forum now has to proclaim it's a 'crazy' environment? I posted a thread at the transformersarchive forums a while back, and promptly got the same general warnings (sans specific mention of Weasel :D ) that every newcomer seems to get here...

Why do we all have to proclaim our crazy credentials on the net?

Escapism.

Everyone want's to be a little crazy once in while, and the net is a way of fulfilling that need without fear of the neighbours calling the police... :)

But IMHO the craziness in SYM is older (or in some cases even ancient...but I won't tell no names ;) ) and more -ah- authentic than the "nice-and-easy-run-of-the-mill-madness" of some other boards.

That might be caused by the fact that GB/SYM is - in my experience - one of the most stable and longest lasting communities "out there".
Quite some people have been here constantly for more than 7 years -and in "Internet Time" that's a very long time.

No worries,

So, that makes you crazier, as you believe you are sane, and still post here... :D

I'd think that being in that position, administering sponge baths would number amongst the *least* of your concerns....

Actually.. In truth, I'm willing to bet that what you'd truly be suited for would be a job in the "Electroshock Chamber." :D

I find that to be a gross oversimplification of the situation, and an insult to my people, the mentally unstable. You will apologize now before the voices in my head come and hunt you down.

Yeah, you can't judge yourself on your sanity; sanity is based on the judgement of others, because we can't all be sane with a few crazies on the loose. That's why the majority of the world thinks it is sane and there is only a few crazies in the world; we are biologically incapable of coming to the conclusion that everyone is completely nutters.

Sure I can: my sanity is self-evident, you just can't see it because you're crazy. :D :p
