Okey dokey, as some of you might have guessed, I'm from the KotOR Forums :D But I picked up this game and I started playing it... interesting... I stole a bunch of stuff from Galbedir and I go sell it to Creeper...

Only problem is that Creeper seems to only have 5000 septims/drakes/gold/whatever... not the 50 or 100k that people seem to be quoting... what's going on?

Reason being that I wanna open that door with the Lock Level 80 in the bottom of the Ald'ruhn Fighter's Guild... I figured I could drop a magnitude 100-100 enchant on an amulet or something and magic it open... lock keeps saying too complex for my Master's Lockpick at 31 Security...

As for Creeper, there are several mods out there (assuming you're on the PC side of things) that will raise his cash-on-hand. The best place to check for these is up at PlanetElderScrolls, which has an extensive Morrowind mods database.

Magicing open a door is done like this.

Get a spell, scroll, amulet, whetever
Make sure it is strong enough to unlock the door.
Equip the thing from step 1 in the magic menu
Aim at door
Use.

As you can see the lockpick is not needed at all neither is security

Okay, to clear up a few things:

I'm playing the un-updated version on the Xbox.

Secondly: All the open spells and scrolls I find don't extend to lock levels of 80, only up to 60 which really annoys me...

As for many of the buying and selling back things, Creeper is only going to have as much money you have +5k so it doesn't accomplish much... ugh... is there any other npc who has at least 60,000g and is readily accessible?

You can learn any open lock spell and then go to an enchanter to to enchant an item or have a new spell created that opens locks. You'll get the option during the creation process to choose what level lock you want the item/spell to open. Whenever I'm not playing a theif character, I generally get an amulet enchanted with an open lock spell that way as soon as I can.

As to the buy back sell option for Creeper, I'm too lazy to type out the whole process, but this link explains it nicely.

it's an irritating process, but if you're on Xbox the mods to increase his gold aren;t an option unfortunatly. Hope this helps :)

Creeper tricks #2

Trade goods.
Get your hands on loads of skooma, ebony bracers, glass daggers etc (things worth close to but no more then 5k)

Sell them all to creeper.
Sell your 50K daedric thingy
He doesn't have enough money so....
Buy back all the daggers, bracers skooma etc.
Rest and then sell them back to him one at a time. Slow but useful.

Sold Goldensaint sould this way.
