Ion and sonic grenades help out alot. Remember to toss them at the droid in the middle so that all of them take some damage.

In this area it pays to have trained your melee skills. Run up to the centre droid and finish him off. then I believe 1/3 of the other droids health will be gone due to the grenades.

This gives you either a head start or ties up the battle due to health lost by all three of them shooting at you.

make sure you are leveld up all the way and put on best availble armour (exept kriea) put the best melee wepons and energy sheilds...if both other party members faint run away (make sure energy sheilds are on) run away and lay mines down preferably sonic but frag and plasma work too.

I can't recall how I beat them but I do know that it wasn't that hard. All I did was to focus all of the attacks on a single target while Kreia uses Force Lightning. I also used energy shields too. Not sure if I used any grenades, though.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

I think the way i did it was to concentrate on one droid at a time. When the droid is dead, retreat and use the heal power if you have it, activate a shield and run in for another attack. Use greandes wherever possible but try not to hit your party.
Hope this was a help

If you have a really hard time you can just run to the Academy instead of battling them. I've never done that, but I've always had an easy time with them.

If you do that thiugh, won't it mean you can never have HK-47 as a party member?

The thing that really helps kill the 3 HK droids is that, in general, they don't move, so you can run away behind the shuttle :)

If you are having major trouble, you could try some forward planning. Before getting on the shuttle to Telos surface, go to the workbench in the store and makes some upgrades for weapons which do extra damage to droids specifically (eg. ionite edges) and put them in your weapons. Also have a look to see if you've received any guns with extra, built-in anti-droid properties. Similarly, you know the droids will be firing energy weapons exclusively, so any characters wearing armor could be equipped with underlays or overlays which reduce energy damage. Also, look to see if you have any belts or visors which absorb energy damage. (incidentally, these same tactics are even more important (spoiler) on GOTO's yacht, where there are loads of much worse droids

My advice is take three jedi (if you have them i can't remeber) and stand there with force storm. the other party member should be hiffing ion grenades like never before

Unfortunately, at this point

1) The highest you can be without cheating is Level 12. So Force Storm isn't available.
2) Your aprty is a compulsory one of Atton and Kreia. It isn't possible for Atton to be a Jedi becauseyou can't make him a Jedi till you speak to those twi-leks in Naa Shaddaa.

No, I usually ended up with extra HK-47 parts later in the game because you find them and you buy them.

Thank you for that. I never knew that. I thought it was a case of 'miss them once and you've had it'. I know that on one occasion I forgot to pick something or other up (I think I killed Kodin without buying the part from him) and thus was never able to complete HK.

I never had any serious trouble with them. First thing i usually do is activate my shield, run a little closer to them, and release three or four attacks of Force Lightning. By the time i'm done, at least two of them have turned into scrap, while my partymembers finish off the last one.

I had it easy, with the second-tier Droid zapping power. I just hit them all with that a few times, and by then my party had finished them off. Very easy for a Light Sider with that power.
