Bryce Crypt (spoiler?)
After completing the Bryce Crypt mission and giving Lord Nasher Arval's journal, I noticed that in addition to the usual xp and gold, I also received something called Bad Strref. I tried looking in the toolset and discovered that it is a property you can give an unequipable item, but I still have no clue as to what it does. Any ideas?

Bad Strref is an abbreviation for "Bad String Reference" - a reference to a non-existing string in the talk tables. As my experience goes, when I get bad strref, one of my .tlk files or a .2da file referring to those tables is damaged or faulty. Reinstalling usually does the trick for me, but if it's just a one-time occurrence I wouldn't worry about it.
In other words - Lord Nasher was trying to tell you something or some sort of dialogue was supposed to be initiated, and the script misfired.
My only experience with this was in NWN1, though, so get someone else's opinion, too.

Thats what I thought at first too. But when i reviewed that conversation, the Bad Strref is stated in yellow, as if he was trying to give me something, as with rewards and xp.
Furthermore, in the toolset, Bad Strref is lan item property listed under some kind of damage reduction. At least I think it is.....

I've never had this happen in NWN2, like I said, and if it isn't connected to the dialogue, then Nasher was trying to give you something and it misfired? I haven't played the game in a while, but did you check the walkthrough to see what rewards for that specific quest are listed, and if you got them all? Maybe you can narrow it down a bit.
