Whats your coolest looking armor?

Post by Loki[D.d.G] »

Guys, I would like to get your opinions on which armor you think looks the coolest in Neverwinter Nights 2.

I say its the Storm Armor of the Earth Children sold by Revorax in the Clan Ironfist Stronghold at Act 3. This is followed closely by the Neverwinter Nine outfit... cool eye :D

for my opinion the best armor is an armor for your caracter special class as an example you are the red dragon disciple so in the trader named deaking from the first neverwinter he has all types of armor for your special clases  :D

Yeah, I'm with Demigame. The female warlock starting armor is just damn hot..... for a game generated character of course....

Heh, yup I agree. The custom classes armor, base and prestige, are way cooler than any other armor you could purchase later on. With the exception of the two I mentioned above.

This is kind of a lame response, but I like the regular rogue leather armor and regular druid armor you get at the beginning of the game.

There are other nice armors, but nothing really stands out in my mind :(

Warlock and Druid beginner armor for the win. I'm not too happy with how the rest of the armor is made to look in the game, especially the full plates, but also some of the medium armor. Armor of Thorns, for example, as well as Blackflame Armor, look painted on rather than 'armor'.

I'm also rather peeved that there are gloves with everything. I mean, come on - even your 'unclothed' character has gloves on! I wonder what they thought when they implemented that.

Well, you could use the toolset to create your own armor. Some of the ones on the game come with boots, gloves, cloaks, belts, helmets, you name it, they have it. Pretty irritating.

Well, since MotB has been released, I thought I might just want to revive this thread. For fun's sake.

So, here goes. The new stormlord armor looks real funny. Ironically enough, you can obtain the Stag helmet in the game. Arcane Scholar of Candlekeep has the most cheesy armor I've ever seen. The flimsy hat looks real ridiculuos on my character. :p

I've always liked the Nw Nine tunic, looks sleek and more of a conventional hoodie :) But since MotB came out, Im starting to like the Invisible Blade tunic. I just wished they could give it a more 'ragged' look (arms visible & all) and a few minor tattered features. I tend to go for the mobile looking armors rather than the chunks of plate :p

As for the female warlocks attire, I was liking ...until something happend & made everything from neck on down turn pitch black :(

Not sure, it seems like a minor bug bcuz before, it matched whatever color I made her skin...now it's just pitch black. It still shows her curves though. Just her skin neck down is all black then whenever I remove the armor her skin turns bright white.

Nothing like a bug to put someone off. Both within the gameworld and without.

I usually like the starting armor of the classes best. Unfortunately the later armor, especially robes, tend to be very poorly desgined. This is something that really disappoints me in NWN2. I'd also like a feature to hide helmet and/or cloak.

So long,
Sol

You dislike even the NW9 tunic?

I thought that the Dwarven Defender armor was quite cool too.
I'd also like a feature to hide helmet and/or cloak.
Maybe someone will come up with a mod for this. ;)
You could also create armor to suit your purposes using the toolset.
