Look at morowind. Did they not put in the mainland (excluding mornhold) because of funding or laziness?

you should be able to swim to the city of blacklight, but you can't.

Would a better name be TES3 Vvardenfell?

This isn't old news. There's even a project to build the whole Morrowind province. It takes a huge amount of time to make things like this so it's neither funding nor laziness. By the time they finished the land the engine would be outdated and they would have to start all over again. You can't just pull a game out of nowhere, you have to make it.

Do You Know How Huge Morrowind Really Is?!?

Morrowind (on the map of tamriel) is accually larger than cyrodiil, so it would take another 2-3 years to make the game if the mainland was included....


would be cool tho... :o

morrowind is bigger, but not by that much....and some of it is sea, which is easy to make....and cool is and understatement

It's probably for the reasons stated by ML, as well as making sure there is a defined end to the map - a large expanse of sea seems more natural than an invisible wall.
