Uh-oh. World save no more?

After I beat Jack of Blades the second time I sat through all of the credits until they were over and I could play again. So I tried to save but my only option was hero save... even though I had no active quests (?). When I reloaded my game I was at Archon's Shrine with the find an old soul as my active quest. So is that a glitch or does it always happen?

Also any fun side quests that I could do since I'm all done with the main mission?

It doesnt always happen. Atleast not with me.
I dont know what happend. I cant remember well but does that throwing away or wearing the mask of Jack of Blades comes before or after the quest?

And I like the chicken kicking comeptition xD

It happens after you beat dragon Jack.
