where do i find moonbeasts?
they are north of the elven city on a big island.

Sorry I figured you had the map. Go to gamebanshee site for DL. Go to the link to worldmap in the walkthrough. Click on the map and it will zoom in. The moon beasts are in the lost lake on an island. That is in the upper left of the map.
To get from Fargrove to the elven lands you will have to complete the quests getting the horn of galdryn out of the tomb (after you get to fargrove through the sewer). Then when its all clear with the seer, the mage alleister, and the king you can exit the west gate. Get through the elven outpost by getting divine favor via killing a banshee in a different island in Lake Lohr. Then onto Arrindale. See map.

Actually, if you run around the north shore of the lake to the point where the mountains come down to the water, it is possible to run at a slight angle around the base of the mountain to the northern valley (containing the Alter of Stars), and it is then only a short swim south to the island. Then run around the edge of the island....in the same way as going around the lake... until you get into the centre section.
