Help in Ust'Natha... does this make it a spoiler?

Okay... gone back to playing this game after several years.... did it before, but can't figure out how to get past the current "challenge". Swapping of the eggs....

I have Solaufein's & Phaere's eggs... go into the egg room and everybody turns on me. I tried it invisible, tried it sanctuaried, tried it in shadows, everytime the same result. Which isn't too problematic... I can hack my way out of a city if I have to, but even when i go back to phaere... she's ticked at me too.... so it's not just the guards in the temple that she warned me about in setting off on the quest...

any pointers????

Yes actually the trick is, that nobody sees you kill the gaurds to the treasure chamber.

Spoiler

Position everybody between the gaurds and the doors to the treasure chamber and then open the door. The egg gaurds (iirc the gaurds to the treasure chamber are called that way) turn red, you kill them switch the eggs and walk out of there.

still need help....

still didn't work, I had all of my characters in the treasure room, nobody was visible except for the two guys and the golems.... wasted them all, because there was no other way... and everybody turned... anybody else with a tip?
