Help please?
I just bought this game and have been trying to install it. The problem I have is that once all three disks are installed, I have the collectors edition from wallmart, and the problem I have is when it finishes and I click run all it does is put a big black box on the upper left then shuts the game down. Has this happened to anyone else? Can anyone tell me why?

Horolaggia:
You do not have T&L support.
I am certain that it is the video card (or more likely the lack of one, with the Intel units usually being built into the motherboard).
Not having T&L support and playing a game that requires it can work (worked for me with Pirates!) but most often it won't (didn't work for Civ4 which uses the same engine as Pirates!). I am not sure about DL as I have had a video card with T&L support before I bought the game.
I would not recommend that you go out to buy a new video card so that you can play a $10 game (its a good game, but a video card will cost more). If you have a greater interest in games then I would recommend one as most games out now will have a T&L requirement.
From the Intel website:Graphic Card : Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family
From the system requirements on box of the Dungeon Lords CE that can be bought at Wal Mart for under $10:Currently, only the Intel® G965 & GM965 Express Chipsets support hardware Transform and Lighting (T&L)1. All other Intel® graphics products do not have hardware support for T&L. In most games, transform and lighting calculations can be performed on the processor with acceptable performance. A small number of games that specifically check for hardware T&L support may fail to run.
.Video: 64 MB DirectX 7 video card with Transform and Lighting support.
