NWN: need help, white screen

Post by Wolverbane »

Hopefully, this is the right place to post this... Here's the stuff in short (yeah, right)

- I had NWN 1 a couple of days ago, and it worked like a charm. The configurations were perfect, not a glitch.
- The prob occurred when I accidentally opened another program over NWN and minimized it. Then, when I restored it, it was white.
- I restarted the game. After the credits, where the menu should be, it's white screen; Can hear the music, see the cursor, it's clickable, but that's it.
- I restarted my PC. Nothing.
- Reinstalled the game. Still white screen.

So do you guys, by any chance, have some idea how to fix that? :(

Thry this out.

I have had a lot of luck with stuff ups on my computer. I hope I can help. First, what I would do is restore your computer to a day or 2 before the accident happened. If that doesn't work, then reinstall your graphics card. There could be some little setting in your graphics card that may be blocking it from working fine. If you don't have a graphics card and I find that unusual, then you will have to update your motherboard. You may also want to try and update your graphics card without uninstalling it, just In case you find that the update repairs the problem. You don't want to uninstall it if you can just update that card, saves you time. This may work, it may not. I am juts telling you some stuff that I do when things like this happen. If you don't know the web page for your graphics card, then just go into your system files and locate the pdf manual which will have the update URL (Website), if it is NVIDIA Ge Force, then Welcome to NVIDIA - Graphics Cards, Motherboards, Notebooks, Desktop PCs . I hope this helps.
