eenie weenie problem, first glitch :/

I dont know if this glitch was already mentioned , but i dont feel like reading 90 pages or w/e

Treasure chests
I come near it and press shift but nothing happens, first time this has happened...
i have 56k so il'l dl 1.3 patch
Havent been patching before...
will it help?

I've never heard of somebody not being able to interact with chests, but downloading the patch, especially the 1.4 patch, couldn't hurt any.

Have you already opened the chest on a prior occasion? The chests don't re-spawn their contents.

Actually there has been this problem posted b4.

You need to be facing the correct side of the chest.

(..of course that might not be his specific problem.)
