Hello All,
Perhaps I am alone in this regard, but I detest the fact that casting the stoneskin spell turns your vibrantly colored PCs into dull grey statues. Since this spell is relatively important for mage survivability, I am forced to stare at grey colored characters all day. I was wondering if there is a mod out there that changes the coloring effect of the stoneskin spell so that the PCs don't change their look. I snooped around the pocket plane group, but didn't see anything. Cheers,
Ben

No, you're most certainly not alone in this, and no, there unfortunately isn't a way to change it. It has been tried, though, but it seems the spell and its affect on your clothes and characters are hardcoded into the game. A real waste, because that made me stop using stoneskin altogether.
However, there is one small solution. There is a mod out there, called Ashes of Embers, which nerfes the stoneskin and ironskin spells so they last only four rounds. That's what I use nowadays. You might want to try it. Not only does it balance the game in my opinion, but it also gets rid of watching grey characters all day long.
