Vendor Prices Problem

I just installed Throne of Bhaal and continued playing my game in SOA again. Now, my party's reputation is at 20, but when I approach a vendor, their prices still haven't gone down. The Staff of Rhynn was still around 15k gold when it should be 1/2 of that. What is going on? I use Mac OS 10.2.8 and I have patch 2.1.2 for ToB installed. Anything you can do to help?

Did you change your pointman(person on top of the characters list)? The game also uses his Charisma to determine the price.

I had Minsc wear helm of glory, equipped the ring of human influence, blade of roses, and nymph cloak, altogether was 23 charisma. The price did not change.
