** Spoiler Alert **

I'm not sure why Khelgar would not leave your party, you should be able to swap him out of your party when you leave the tavern. As I know, his quests are purely optional.
If it's some bug, you might want to try the Atari tech boards.

As to getting lawful points, well... don't go and do Chaotic actions! When choosing responses to any situation, be careful what you pick. Often, the lawful/chaotic choices are as plain as the good/evil choices. It's simple role-playing. It's not what you want to respond, but what your character would respond. It's the only way short of bringing out the cheat sheet.

You can hold off levelling for a now, and wait until you get lawful again before buying those monk levels. It might hurt slightly, but not really much, if at all. If really bad simply rest more often. There's no known time limit, so take your time and rest up. It shouldn't take too many lawful choices before you go back to being lawful again, if you just noticed you cannot level now... take heart!

Maybe. But it depends on how you cheat and where you play online generally. Those are best answered by whoever is hosting the game and what s/he allows.
