Favorite Jedi?(Besides the Exile)
My favorite Jedi would have to be the Handmaiden.
Always fight for what you believe in, but remember the ends do not justify the means.

with time and patience i have gotten the disciple as a male but then neither mira or hanharr joined my party in the game the disciple is a very cool player you can train him to become a very powerful jedi consular it took a lot of time for me to do but i think it was a glitch in the game that i got him becuase i have tried at least 6 more times done the exact same things but failed when i was a male anybody know nething about this? am i simply doing something wrong?

Switching Characters
Hello there all KOTOR1/2 players,
it has been more than a year since KOTOR1.
It seems to me the natural choice is to have Kreia in the party (for the mentor bonus) for all the fights.
But in order to Jedify the rest, I have to switch Kreia out and Atton, BaoDur, Visas, Mira and Mandalore for the conversations.
Am I right? So.. basically, it's Kreia for fights and completion of tasks and the others for conversations.
Only that way, we can see our favourites Jedify. Correct? If so, this game is switching people around.
PS: I wonder what happened to Mission, Jolee and the Cathar.

In the end, everything will be alright. If it is not alright, it is not the end.
To get The Disciple you must be a female, and light sided. The Disciple will replace Handmaiden for reasons I can not say with out making a spoiler. but then again I don't want to ruin the fun:mischief:.Vaughn Whynot wrote:Visas Marr

There is only one way to get Hanharr and thats to be Dark Sided. This character will replace Mira.

Spoiler
Mission, Jolee and the Cathar, to keep the story line straight, die. No matter what your alignment is Revan, be it boy or girl, ends up being evil. So Revan kills them on the unknown world.

How do you figure that? Nothing in the game suggests them dying at the hands of Revan. In fact, there is no mention of what happens to them at all. The continuity between KotOR I and II is thin at best. Not that I, personally, mind. It is easily conceivable, and even likely, that the Exile is not Revan at all. (Else why would Bao-Dur and Mandalore never mention this very important part of your history to you?)
Oh, and my fav Jedi is Visas, closely followed by Mira (who is very, very good even as a non-Jedi!)
Cheers,
Carrie
Some clarifications (Spoiler).
Spoiler
1. The Exile is NOT Revan (but nobody said that, so I wonder why Caranthe mentions that). They are totaly official two different characters.
2. In Kotor II you have some influence what Revan was by talking to Atton (when freeing him from his cage in the Peragus Station). There you can decide...
- If Revan was male or female
- If Revan saved the republic or went to Korriban (after defeating Malak) to unite the Sith against the republic (in this case, he had no success - a civil war on Korriban stops his plans).
So the dark side version is only one possibility, it is NOT true, that Revan automatically became evil again. In Kotor II, you can decide what "your" Revan did.
3. In the official (canon) storyline, Revan redeems himself, becomes a light sider and defeats Malak before the Star Forge is destroyed.

True, it's not mentioned specifically anywhere. I'm probably confused because I played II before I.Kleanthes wrote:Some clarifications (Spoiler).

Indeed, when you free Atton, what you tell him, decides for the rest of the game, if Revan was LS/DS Male/Female. And it does make a difference, throughout the game.
Since you've played it you mean? Because KotOR 2 takes place 5 years after KotOR 1.sun_facer wrote:it has been more than a year since KOTOR1.
Indeed, use Kreia if you want the EXP bonus, but honestly, I don't use her that much. BUT there are key points in the game in which you can gain Influence with other characters, and increase your chances of turning them into Jedi. Nar Shadaa has quite a few of these, especially for Bao-Dur (When you heal the old man, and when you reuinte Aaida and her husband, make sure you have Kreia in party too for the latter). Dxun is another one for Bao-Dur (Bring ONLY Bao-Dur with you when you rescue the 'dead' Mandalorian)
Make sure you talk to Atton after running into the Twi-leks in the Refugee sector, if you have enough influence...
Visas is a Jedi (well technically Sith) from the start. And I don't think you can make Mandalore a Jedi? If you're nice, both the Handmaiden and Desciple can also become Jedi. Remember, you have to have high influence.

I do too... Especially Mission, and Juhani.sun_facer wrote: PS: I wonder what happened to Mission, Jolee and the Cathar.
For a Jedi, I prefer Bao-Dur, since he is a tech specialist combined with a Jedi Guardian. Quite useful when it comes to opening locked doors or hacking consoles.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
