Missing Inventory items

I took a break from SoA, and came back to playing it and I'm 100% sure there are are missing items. Now I keep items that I don't currently want to carry in the slavers compound in the slums district and they're not there.
So my main question is had anybody noticed if items go missing if

a) Changes are made with ShadowKeeper
b) Party members are swapped out (I thought Azuredge was on Keldorn)

I cound't find the stilleto of demarchess in the planar sphere quest either.

Has anyone else noticed items that have gone missing?

It could have something do with mods you have installed or that you've accidently dropped items when given quest rewards.
Sometimes items of significance on characters are moved onto other party members when they've been kicked.

THe only ?mod? I have installed are the files required to add Deirdre and the other guy in the collectors edition.

Is there anyway to find these items via console commands or trainer etc?

How long do items stay on the floor

Can anyone tell me if I leave items on the floor how long do they stay there, and does the time depend on the type of items?

I think non quest critical items don't dissappear for about 24 game hours (I could have my games mixed up). So it an item is important to completing a quest like certain books or keys they'll never dissappear, most other things that can be sold will vapourise given time.

How long to shopkeepers keep items you've sold to them? forever?

I think so, iirc I never saw an item disapear with a merchant.

Next question.
How often to NPC's drop items when under the effect of fear, charm etc?
I haven't noticed it happening when confusion/fear has effected my group.

Can you use Shadowkeeper to examine Merchants and Containers? or just NPC's
