Deathlord stuff...

Post by Vhan Tiegros »

Anyone know where to find to the death lord body, shoulders, and boots? I'm trying the level nine chest in the maze for them, but no cigar. I did manage to get the belt, gloves, and legs there, though. :/

Go fish.. :D Always save first b4 opening. ;)

Tomb of Souls (several "chests").

1 chest in the Drake grounds.

Tough to wear the plate, leggings and pauldrons without a *learning bonus* in Heavy Armor (unless you don't mind a massive penalty).

LOL! My guy is all ready a human tank. His heavy armor skill and heavy weapons skill are up there. I can wear the leggings without any penalty at all! (Is level 40ish...) :p I'll try the chest in the drake breeding grounds. Dragons to me are pie. Chewy, warm, squishy, melting in your mouth pie.. Cream pie... Hot outta the oven, whip topping center and.... *shakes head* Anyway.. Easy as pie...

I remember those dragons made me scared. Three of them were blasting fire at me. Lucky thing I had about 100 blast nova spells

But I had major adrenaline for that battle.
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

My first time was a rush too. My friends even better, as the dragon got the drop on him. XD

While I was testing the Warlock.. at one point I had this pretty weak character (because I hadn't used most of the XP's).. and there I am - walking around the forbidden lands doing various guild quests and in drops 2 groupings of Death Widows. Ehh, no big deal I thought, so I run up to them and hit them with a Nova Blast (trying to maximize the area effect). All of a sudden I get hit with a fire ball, then another.. WTF? I look closer to the army of Death Widows coming my way and then get hit with another fireball.. At this point I'm pretty low on health and I pause the game to get a fire ward up and look into the distance to see this drake right where the 2 groups of Death Widows spawned. Unfortunately I didn't get the fire ward up fast enough and 2 more fireballs apparently were launched before the pause.. Long story short - I've just got to remember to save more often. :D

Drakes!!

I like 'em frozen, like on ice.

Then I will take some time to select just the right weapon or spell and....

*Blamo* *Whack* *Zot* *Boom*

But freezing just one isn't much of a challenge anymore so I get them to come after me. I'll lead them to a central point, one by one, and just when the Drake loads up a fireball spit wad to try and fry me I get 'em to chill out and relax for a bit. So after I have a few Drakes turned into icy spectators I'll decide on a spell like cataclysm, ice nova or blast nova. If I'm feelin' really confident I might try stone chards or whirlwind. So many choices (so little time :D ).

Anyway.....

Here's a screenie taken in the Drake nesting area that was posted previously in the screen shot thead--

(so nice I'm posting it twice  )

XD Nice Wiz. I really just prefer to power through them, and oh.. Back on topic I found all the death lord armor. It looks, and preforms bad ass. Also, I got it all from that one chest in the drake breeding grounds. Thank god for lan and saving items on the floor. :p

Simply Trajek

So okay........back on topic then

There is something you can do to get one more piece of Deathlord armour but you have to be going for the Deathlord class ;)

For the last part of the quest you are required to travel to the Vale of Ruin to find and defeat "General Trajek" and his minions. If you are victorious, after a very spirited battle with the dual axe wielding General, he should drop some Deathlord armour. Also, if you have the thief skill and numerous potions, you can choose to use a weaker weapon to increase the amount of times you hit him. He'll drop 2,000 to 3,000 gold every so often.

I took him for about fifty grand

Hey

You can also get at least the Deathlord Plate out of the right chest in Big Bad Mog's safehouse. I got it on the first try. Also got the Dragon shoulders. Pretty good haul in my opinion.
