Okay Okay.... But im actually making him dualist for two reasons:
1)I like duals.
2)This char is gonna be a part of a very small force using group who use dual sabers(you know thats for backround)
But im still saying that i can make this an effecient char with two blades, and Im not going to change that... rapid strike might be good yes, but i believe i can get him to be better with Two sabers than anything else... After all, i can make good dualists in nwn and kotor and this isnt techically far from those two...exept that they are computer games!!!!
EDIT: Hey what if i take duals and rapid strike? Is that possible? Dont have the book here now and cant remember.....

It certainly is possible.
If it's background, sure, I just said what I thought was "best". Spending less feats on Dual would open up more options, and options are good. Some further advice: Take Skill Focus (Use the Force) and the talents that lets you make a UtF check instead of Initiative and the one that does the same for Perception.

We will see about those two... But i didnt need options really, i planned the char fully before even making him, down to the feats and talents.

I meant options as in "Not cutting everything that you meet to pieces."
Devouting less feats on direct combat for marginal gains and focussing some more on Battlefield-control and social encounters make you more useful and allow you more diverse solutions to problems.
I don't know how much table-top RP experience you have, but it's NOT comparable to a computer game, which are mostly all about combat, and then it's combat that boils down to hacking at each other.
Most of the times, disabling enemies is much more viable than simply slugging it out/dealing damage. Also, being able to spot encounters before they are upon you and thus preparing is invaluable.
In Saga, in broad terms, this boils down to more Force Powers, for example: Force Slam and having a scout-type (a type, not the class): having Force Perception for example. These are just simple examples, actual gameplay will have much more intrecate demands.

Take it from me then, that tabletopping is something else entirely than PC gaming. You have to be better at more than just combat. your build is incredibly powerful in melee, with a full attack, but chances are very slim he'll get many opportunities to flaunt this. Clever opponents, like Stormtroopers, or Clonetroopers, or even worse: Sith, will probably outmanouvre you.
Also, many situations can be avoided or at least bent to your advantage by properly scouting them out and setting up your terms for the combat.

I wont be needing the utf for initiative since ill get the same just with attribute modifiers... But the perception might be useful.GawainBS wrote:It certainly is possible.

And no, im not thinking u were born with knowledge and ur first words were: I will get ab 64 and ac 82 if i take this class, but my saves will be weak.

The point about taking the talent to Use The Force as Initiative is that you have an extra skill "slot" free, which in turns might diversify your character without weakening it. It also implies that everytime you increase your UTF skill, Initiative will also benefit. Simple example: Taking Skill Focus: UTF (a must for any Jedi) will then also benefit Initiative. If you also have Force Perception Talent and Block/Deflect Talents, taking one feat (Skill Focus UTF) provides a +5 bonus on 4 kinds of frequently taken checks.
I think that this diversification is a greater gain than the marginal increase in combat effectiveness you might get by stack combat feat on combat feat and devouting nearly every talent to combat.
For a human Jedi with 12 INT, I'd go for Acrobatics, Use The Force, Jump and Knowledge (Galactic Lore).
After all, what good does all your combat prowess do if you can't find the enemy or if he takes you out before you can react?

What I meant is that i will get +1 from cha and +5 from skill focus, but i will get +6 to initiative from dex, so its a waste of a feat....
But hey i havent even told you all that im going to take, so what makes you so sure about the fact that im spending all my talents and feats on combat??? I could write my plan here but its too hard work and im tired so ill just tell them next time...

*Except* that it means you'll have to take Initiative as a skill. You only have two class skills to select, remember? (Maybe one extra because of Human and some more because of INT). Use The Force is one of them.
Initiative not as skill: +6 dex modifier.
Initiative = UTF: 1/2 character level + 5 as trained skill + 5 Skill Focus + CHA (1) = +11 + 1/2 character level.
Also, don't forget you get to increase *two* ability scores every 4th level. I'd be increasing my CHA & DEX, thus further increasing my UTF.
