Starting a new character for Shivering Isles?

Does anyone recommend starting a new character for Shivering Isles? I can see the advantages of doing so since my current character is basically maxed out, but I can't convince myself to start a new character. any opinions/advice?

well, there are toe-to-toe 'fighter' battles galore... so a pure magic user might have a difficult time... stealthy types do well (my guy is a 'ranger' who uses his bow a lot...) but since everyone levels up with you, the game should be beatable even for a new character... it is a very interesting story line...
