Just a quick question for my new party
I know that Keldorn and Viconia together will bring on a fight. Are there any more of those combinations, or is that it?
there are a few - in the walkthrough section, I think there is a list re NPCs.
Vicky doesn't get on with Keldorn nor with Valgyar, yet doesn't have so many spats with Sir Anomen. Don't think she likes Aerie either and I have not tried to keep her and Nalia happy together.
Jaheira doesn't seem to mind her, but with Jah, her sexual interest in male PCs tends to lead to spats - e.g. with Aerie.
I'm not sure if Mazzy falls out with her (Vic) either.
I find it safer to have a largely similar set of alignments - so I choose either Good and have Keldorn etc or I chose Neutral and include nominally 'evil' characters. Edwin's massive spellbook makes him a good ally if you can put up with him and Viconia is an interesting party member overall.
Edwin and Minsc hate each other - Edwin hated Dynahir, Minsc's previous witch (who you can rescue from the Gnolls in BG).

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, or add what I've missed:
Edwin & Minsc
Edwin & Keldorn
Viconia & Keldorn (attacks, if an ultimatum is not obeyed)
Keldorn & Anomen (attacks, depending on how his test previously went)
Aerie & Anomen (attacks, depending on how his test previously went)
Korgan & Aerie (leaves, if an ultimatum is not obeyed)
Viconia & Valygar (attacks, if together during a particular conversation)
Why is it that whenever I finally get around to playing a new game for the first time,
I feel like playing Baldur's Gate for the second time...
It bears mentioning that there is a mod which removes the intra-party combat or leaving, and also keeps party members around whether your rep goes to 3 or below, and 18 or above. As I recall, The Gibberlings Three offer it as part of their BG2 Tweak Pack, and you can accept or reject any of the individual elements in that Pack when you load it.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
Keep in mind that all the in-party fightings & leavings (save the Val & Vic tif) happen during the random banters.
Some have proclaimed never having so-and-so rumble. I think it just depends on what random banters come up, or are allowed to come up. I think that, if you adventure long enough with so-and-so, eventually all their banters would be acted out.
Others have proclaimed to reload when a rumble banter came up, and that banter never reappeared again. (Fable's idea is probably better way to go, if trying to avoid punkings.)
Also, some NPCs will get pissy and leave or even attack you, depending on certain decisions you make: joining with Bohdi, attacking Drizzt... maybe other events.
A shame the bad blood couldn't be curtailed by the protagonist. It would be a nice opportunity to make Charisma mean something...

I have very rarely let the in party ructions get to blows - once they get heated and I sense a fight is on the cards, I remove one of them back at my stronghold to save them for later. Jaheira can leave the party if she doesn't like your male PCs relationship with Aerie, which is a nuisance.
You'll need to check some specifically for whether they leave/try to kill each other.
Anomen becoming Sir Anomen stops the ruction with Keldorn for example - I have had them together for a long time after Anomen passed his test and they seemed to get on.
some of the problems require specific triggers, rather than a general hatred.
when I have Viconia as party leader - some elves get the hump when we meet them - that is also undocumented.
