TLC water color glitch?

Post by Morgan Le Fay »

I apologize in advance if this has been asked before. I'm new here, and have skimmed through the FAQs and threads looking for a previous discussion of this, but have not found one.

I just started playing Fable: TLC, and have noticed that in two different games (in both cases after about 5-6 hero saves) the water in the game (puddles, lakes, streams, etc.) turns from the really realistic look to this horrible fakey blue color.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anything that can be done (if it's not somehow tied to the hero save glitch?)

Thanks,
M Le F

I recall coming across this glitch before but this happened when the game crashed unexpectedly and when I started it back up, the water looked bad (the scenario you mentioned). I managed to resolve this by closing the game and starting it back up again. :)

Hello and welcome to the forums, Morgan Le Fay. ;)

Thanks!

Thanks for your help, DesR85 and G-SUS. I appreciate it.

I've tried re-loading and re-booting, but apparently I'm stuck with the fake water in this profile. Oh well. :)

Thanks for the welcome.

Then, I suspect that the hero save have something to do with this bug. I've hero saved before quite a few times and I noticed more problems start to appear after doing so. If that is the case, then I suggest loading the save game before you started using the hero save trick or start a new profile.
