Companion Teleport

Post by Swims-in-Swamps »

Well, I searched and it didn't turn up anything so I decided to post a thread.

Is there any mod or ~ command that can teleport an NPC from one area to another?

I want to put some Telvanni around my stronghold as "guards" but the only way to do that currently is to have them follow me there with a "follow me!" mod I have installed. This is very slow so I was wondering if there could be a quicker way to do this.

If anyone knows of something that can teleport companions, please tell me.

Thanks in advance, I really appreciate the help. :)

I recall a mod that made companions teleport with you. I can't remember which though. DW's suggestions would work but it'd be a pain taking the guards to Uvirith.

Have you considered a mod to put guards in your stronghold as well as expand it?

Try here. Just search the lengthy page for Companion Teleport, click the name, and you'll be able to download it. Very good file, but it does require MWSE, which I find invaluable.

I've just remembered. FPS optimizer will do it too.

Thanks again, I will try what you guys suggested.

Edit:

Um, I tried both of the companion teleport mods on that site, but both of them resulted in a drastic decrease in FPS. Even after I had uninstalled them, the game was still slow. I'm reinstalling Morrowind now.

I read the readme's and installed them correctly, but they just don't seem to run well on my computer. Oh well.

Thanks anyway.

Very odd. I've never had any slowdown from using Companion Teleport or any MWSE-related mods. How much RAM do you have?
