can helmets be enchanted? - possible spoilers

Like title. If the answer is yes, then what enchantments work on them? Do they give deflection ac?

I have actually never tried it because I've not seen any recipies for it. My initial response would be no.
However, crafting trainers says that you can "combine" outside recipes to make "powerful enchants/items", but I do doubt it is implemented as such.

So if they can - it is "undocumented" within the game, but it should be possible to find out by looking in the toolset.

But - as said - initial response would be negative.

I was wondering if it is possible to enchant a helmet with 30/- elemental resist like a torso armor. Since the recipe only states that any armor, and helmet is an armor (main type armor, sub type helmet). Since clothing can be enchanted just the same as a full plate I am curious to know wether helmets can be as well. Oh well, it seems I have to try it, if no one knows.
