Disappointment (spoiler probably)

Post by Kilroy »

Does anyone besides me think that it's lame how wimpy Jack is? I mean both times you fight him. The first time I tried to fight him (this isn't using physical shield, and before I knew about the money thing to get loads of gold for potions, etc) I totally destroyed him w/o much effort at all. It only took about 3 mins. I just had full plate, and the solus and berserk + a master longbow (which is really easy to get w/ all the quest $ you get through the game). When I fought Dragon Jack it only took about 5 mins and the only difference in equipment was that I had that Demon helm thing instead of a chainmail helm. I didn't even know Archon's or whatever existed.

Kind of agree somewhat. As a boss, he isn't particularly strong at all. He goes by a set pattern and when you learn his patterns and use essential spells, it's pretty much easy to defeat him.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

Personally, i found it hilarious how he goes on and on about his bloody sword being "so powerful" that no one can fathum its capabilities...and yet he doesnt use it throughout most of the battle! lol

After I beat him, I kept thinking "that can't be all. He's comming back in some crazy elite form. I know it." But he didn't!

It was funny though, I beat him once, and then the credits were annoying, so I pressed 'y' to skip it, and it didn't save, and just went back to the main menu, so I had to go fight Jack again. =P He wasn't hard either time. I thought maybe I got lucky the first time, and this time I would get my ass handed to me, but he wasn't hard either times.
