Gun ammo! cant buy!

Go to down town and pawn shop guy in santa monica. Nada! Says "ammo full!" where the buy should be. Ive tried patching my game but when i do the game wont work. Before my comp crashed this was not a problem, now it is. Any sugestions? i always prefered a knife to a shot gum but when fighting zombies the right weapon is what you need.

Well, I don't know, but you should see the ammo on your shotgun it should read something like, 5/45 50. If it says that then you can't buy more and if it doesn't then I have no idea. I'm using patch 4.2 so maybe the ammo it's not the same number.

Dumb suggestion, but the gun ammo is noted with:

"ammo loaded"/"max ammo potentially loaded"
"max ammo carry-able"

The final number is not 0, and looks about right, certain weapons greater payloads than others, then you're probably fine. Even if the "ammo loaded" portion is 0, it's fine, you'll just need to reload before being able to fire, and you don't carry less than max.

nope

No it says max ammo "6" with my pistol and wont let me buy and or pick it up off the gorund. Same with shotgun. What i can do it drop my current supposed full "0/6 max 6" shotgun and pick up one with three shots in it then when those have been used i drop. Also when i try patching the game with 1.2 it wont launch. I get the red "vampire masquera..." box then whole screen goes black. Then back to desktop. I think once my game is finaly patched i will stop having problems.

By the way when i first got the game and patched it, it worked for a while before i had black screen now i can only play it unpatched.
