theives guild ?? grey fox??

Methredhel??? been waiting for her now forever, she wont come to give me the next part of the quest to go see the grey fox. ive tried waiting for 24 hours, tried sleeping for 24 hours and nothing, been all over the city looking for her and still nothing, i checked her house, she dont be there, and even checked that other house she was in when i stole the staff from the arcane university, nope she's not there either, my quest log says that some one will contact me, and as for requirements, I think im suppose to have 600g fenced in, I got nearly 7000g fenced in. sooo if anyone can help me, tell me where i can find her or how i can get her to find me, it would be greatly appricaited.

I had the same problem, go to the imperial waterfront district and wait 1 hour at a time, this might help you

If Aylied_King's suggestion doesn't work try resting for 24 hours in a city district, or going to another city/area, resting then come back an try again. I also encountered this problem, and it did sort itself out eventually.

Well the easy thing is if you are on the PC so bring up the console and type in the necessary to trigger the next stage of the quest. So the question is what is your last entry? You are doing Independent Thievery right?

player.setstage TGStolenGoods ....

the ... means I don't know which is your last entry in the journal. If it was this:

" I've reached my goal. I have fenced over 600 gold worth of goods. When I'm in the cities, I'll have to keep an eye out for messengers from the Gray Fox. He could call for me at any time. I should wait in the Imperial City if I want them to find me quickly."

Then type 90 above so

player.setstage TGStolenGoods 90

If it is something else, the journal entry, let us know.
