Post by montana_75 »

just wondering does anyone have an opinion on the jedi temple and hk factory mods. i found them at Knights of the Old Republic 2, Knights of the Old Republic 2 Downloads - FileFront.com but i am wondering if they are really worth downloading.

I found the factory mod tough, very tough, but it was OK.

The Jedi temple would have been good if the modder hadn't gone crazy when adding items. Unfortunately it's a bargain basement giveaway of every valuable item in the game, and a real game killer IMO. It's a shame because the person must have put in a lot of hard work, it's not easy to mod TSL.

The Droid Planet is available from the same site, and I thought it was very good, except I couldn't find a way to lower the final forcefield.

There should be a readme file that comes together with the mod, am I right? I suggest reading that first. ;)

There's also a restoration project in progress that can be found at Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords Restoration Project - About

Its promising to restore a lot of the cut content from the game, and looks quite promising.
