Problem with Cheating

Hi

I've tried to use God mode earlier today but when I tried to close the console I no longer could take control of my character. My mouse was detached from looking and ESC didn't bring up the menu either. In fact no single button pressed resulted in action ingame.

How to fix this?

Did you make sure that you used the tilde (~) key to close the cheat mode off?

Yes I tried everything to close it.

So.. it happens every time you use it? It happened to me only once, when fooling with the cameras for screens... can't remember what I did to fix it, but I think it has something to do with hitting the window button to return to windows, reopen the minimized VtM:B window, repeat 2-3 times and/or entered a few more different commands in the console. And either that worked, or I gave up, killed the game and restarted.

yes this happens every time I try it. I open the console and from that moment on I can not get back to playing.

You need to be on the main menu page to avoid this frequent bug. Opening the console there will work fine.
