Get the Generic Archer kit and make yourself a multiclass Archer/Thief. Loads of options to choose from for any battle.

Well, since it's a fantasy game I don't mind that BG druids aren't like the ancient druids that really existed. But if you're going to create a fictional group with an ideology, make sure the ideology has it's own inner logic. The whole balance philosophy is such obvious nonsense that it's hard to roleplay one of these people.
With paladins it's different. They may be shortsighted fanatics but where Keldorn is unreasonable and racist where Viconia is concerned, his way of thinking, stupid and bad as it may be, is believable.

I never really played shapeshifter/fighters as druids but rather based them off of berserkers from the RTS game called Battle Realms.

A fighter/shapeshifter might get a bit too powerful, especially in ToB and I really don't see myself roleplaying a druid. IMHO they're narrow minded zealots with an ideology that make some RL eco terrorists seem reasonable.
I don't understand how some people constantly worry about their character becoming too powerful. You're a bhaalspawn for christ's sake. A child of Bhaal. Divine blood flows through your veins. Your very soul is divine. You are SUPPOSED to be powerful. Very powerful. Unbelievably powerful. How can you worry about becoming too powerful? o.O

I'm already trying that myself starting in ToSC. That's how I realised that it could make for an interesting game. Having minimum stats for charisma was certainly interesting. I expect having minimum stats in any of the attributes will make life interesting, particularly if you don't boost them back up using items.

Sol: Because then it'd be like Fable and you'd have challenge.

wise grimwald: Good luck with that. Did you ever try the Tenser's Transformation with minimal Constitution? I believe it's only good after killing your familiar a few times. While you get around 400 health by killing it twice, I'm not sure how much you'd get if you started with eighteen Constitution and got all of the bonuses and reduced yourself to one or zero. One is better though, as a failsafe, although you have to watch out for anything that would drain your ability scores... which I believe are only shadows. Other than that, you're a wall. As a Kensai/Mage or a Bard you also get fighting ability so I say it's a small price to pay in my opinion. The sudden transformation from weakling to god, in your case, that's divine intervention or the essence within you. It doesn't *just* have to be the slayer.
