Pure Sorcerer or Arcane Scholar?

So I'v been wondering, Whats best? Going full sorcerer or pulling in 10 levels of Arcane Scholar into the build?

There's no such thing as Arcane Scholar.

EDIT: Wait, nevermind. Didn't see that it was an MoTB version class.

Go with Arcane Scholar. DND rules make metamagic feats somewhat useless to sorcerers, but in NWN, it's slightly different, so yeah.

hm..

the only advantage you will have by going pure sorcerer (or going pure any class) is increased Epic feat (I believe you get about 2 more epic feats then other mixed character), and some DC

I believe DC still adds up when you are lvling arcane scholar as well.

It be best if you got arcane scholar.

P.S. One thing though, unless I'm mistaken, you can still advance in sorcerer spells as you level Arcane Scholar. Try to get into the Arcane scholar class as soon as you get the chance for it.
After 10 lvls of Arcane Scholar, you may add another class to improve your character

Thanks for the replies. I'v created the character now and I'm 9 Sorcerer and 9 Arcane Scholar right now (Havent gotten into the game to test the character yet as I just finished the leveling) So now we will see how this chaotic neutral selfish sorcerer does in the world^^

I would actually recommend going sorc23/AS7, as the level 10 AS ability (quicken spell to +3 spell level instead of +4) isn't particularly useful due to the brokenness of quicken spell in NWN. Furthermore, the extra 3 sorc levels will give you an extra feat.
