I have a question about the story :

The dopplegangers used to work for the Iron Throne (and then Sarevok took control of them) or they always have been controled by Sarevok?The control of the Seven Suns and the Merchant League didn´t seem a wise move , since everyone could guess who was behind the situation.

I think the doppelgangers worked for the Iron Throne, which Sarevok made plans to take control over as part of his plans. As for the attack on the other trading places being obvious - remember that nobody knew the doppelgangers were even there, so they wouldn't have known who they work for. It would have just looked like the companies were falling apart from infighting and bad deals etc.
