Hey guys,
I once asked this question long time ago, but back then nobody was able to answer it. At least no one was sure.
Does soloing NWN2 effectively give you more XP? So that you're able to reach lvl 20 by the end of the non-expansion campaign with Svirfneblin or a Drow for example?

Yes, but I don't know if its enough to get 2 or 3 extra levels, especially because levels 21-22-23 require more and more XP.
But a more evective technique I've used with my Svirfneblin is simply not leveling up as often. I wait for every 4th level (when I get a stat increase) before clicking the level up button. I still take 1 or 2 companions (fully leveled up), and finished the game at level 19 I think.

Depends on your playstyle.
If you take companions only when truly needed (until Neverwinter, their special quests, special areas and so forth), and you do not level them up AT ALL (you can have Quara of Elanee to enchant you stuff and level them up, since you can finish their quests in Act I, but never take them anywhere) and do all the sidequests, you will hit level 20 about the reaver/collum part.
Also note, that not levelling up earned levels only works if you have two or more levels already gained.

Well, but this way my char would be kinda weak half of the game. So this solution doesn't seem fit for me. What about unlimited XP glitches? Just to compensate for the XP loss of course.

Well I've run across one 'glitch'. It's when you accidently open up the console (the '~' key) type:Solusek wrote:What about unlimited XP glitches? Just to compensate for the XP loss of course.

It seems to happen most often when you are about to reach a big battle and you are only a few thousand XP short of the next battle. Atari has recognized this issue are are not trying to fix it. There is a third part solution for this glitch, but it involves integrity (of which I have none).
