Dark Brotherhood, Dead Drop 2 problem

Post by poppydawg »

Hello All;

I'm at the point where I pick up my Reward and 2nd drop letter. I found it and read it but it's not starting the quest. I've run all over looking for the farm and can't find it, thought that might start it. Anyone have an idea how to get past this??? Thanx, poppydawg

Tried that

Thanx, I tried that twice and No Go... I also tried loading before I picked it up and it still wont continue...

I had this problem once before, don't remember the quest name, where you sneak into the prison and kill the guy in the cell. He wasn't there when I arrived. Later while in the tunnels under the prison on another quest I killed a guard and it said I had completed the assassination quest. I got the finished notice, bounty and bonus.... Very Strange....

I take it you're referring to the quest that starts with the dead drop in Chorrol, under the tree?

If so try opening the console and typing

setstage Dark11Kin 10

If it's not that quest, please state where the drop was.
