I've gotten all of them except the one you're supposed to find at random. I can't find it anywhere, been looking through the town a couple of times, and the swamp as well but i can't seem to find it.

When I had gathered nine of them I talked to the PI. He then gave me the last one. I don't know if this is the random you speak of though...
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Talk to Kalkstein about the golem and later on with the druids. Shouldn't be a problem.

I don't have any dialogue options for the golem at Kalkstein.

Turn over both books to kalkstein, return to the swamp and talk to vaska then back to kalkstein. See a a blacksmith then go back to the golem and either wait for it to rain or talk to the druids.
