Need help with finding character..

Post by Bobi »

Hello.
I've stopped playing this game before 2 years , and now I wanna play again with my sister on LAN.
I've copied old save files and started to play where i last quit . I noticed there was still my char , but my sister's char was gone..
Where is the folder of character database's ? Does it even exist? How could it find my character and it couldnt find my sister's char..
Please help. Thanks!

Same Computer?

Okay... a few questions here.

If you were both on the same computer when you created said characters, you obviously cannot use both of them at the same time. One of you would have to create a new character.

After typing that, I think I figured out what you meant.

The only way that I've been able to get around that is to have one character for the Multiplayer button, one for the Singleplayer button, and one for the recently created button. I haven't found another way to get around it.

Here's a suggestion though. I know it's technically cheating, but if you can remember the levels of everything your character was at, you can always recreate them and grab one of those trainer programs to level your character up. That's what we had to do a few times. Now we're just wandering around at level 6 (with 100 on Strength, Dex, Agility, etc.) and 10 in all categories on the right side of the screen. We're gods. Hehe.

No , we're not playing it on the same computer .. 1 on laptop and 1 on this computer , and this computer has all the saves of dlord.
And with the editor i can only edit my stats , not my sister's .

The editor would have to be on her pc as well.

A thought here...
If both of your charcters are on the same computer, just copy the save game from the one and paste it in the same location on the other computer.
