Just wanted to point out the following (put it in spoiler tags, even though this thread is about the walkthrough):
Spoiler
Khelgar's releveling as a monks seems to have been fixed. As was revealed in the spoiler part of Khelgar's entry on his character page, I relevelled him at 16 and was unpleasantly surprised that his strength score was reset to his original numbers. Okay, it was abusing a bug, but wouldn't have minded a base str 25 monk ; )
Anyway, I'm running version 1.10 of the game. I've scoured the readme files of all versions from 1.3 and haven't found a mention of it, although the readme for 1.7 and 1.10 are the same (a mistake by obsidian i guess), which might suggest that 1.10 was the fix.

The Mask of the Betrayer is a module specific item. Meaning you won't be able to get it until you enter Module Z, according to the toolset.

Post deleted. As was already pointed out, if you're going to put spoiler info up here, use the spoiler tags that hide it unless highlighted.

We've updated the NWN2 subsite to include a walkthrough and a companions section for Mask of the Betrayer. The walkthrough is roughly 50% complete.

Great job with the strategy guide so far! :) I've always loved how the maps show the designated areas 'n such. I've spotted a few places i've missed while my first time through motb. :D ...such as the ice lodge, never new it was there till ppl began talkin about it.

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to find out that Bioware/Obsidian/whomever does the patches includes the bonus (Blessing of Mystra) in a future patch.... (which can be purchased)

I think Buck's only planning to make a news item for the walkthrough when it's complete.

:) Hi. Many thanks to all who put in the hard work to give users the database so far, and especially the campaign walkthrough. I just picked up the expansion and decided to go through the original again before starting the new one. I may just have forgotten, but it seems the walkthrough for the original has more info than before.

May I humbly suggest a database of all the crafting, enchanting, and alchemy details? In the original NWN that Recipies of the Forge book (or whatever it was called) was priceless. Even though I quickly outgrew the items I could craft with it, it was a great boon in early levels when I could benefit from the items available to create.

Anyway, now that I'm into the original campaign for the second time, I'm interested in seeing if I can whip up a suit of armor or a sword on the ol' anvil for my Fighter, but detailed info about that in the game is almost non-existent. I don't want to just go about it blindly. I figured there already would be a section with all the details regarding items that could be made that listed all the ingredients/requirements, but if there is one I can't seem to find it, and real-life obligations keep me a little too busy to try a gazillion different searches in the forum.

Thanks again for all the hard work everybody's put into the database so far. It's very much appreciated.

Firstly, welcome to the forums.

To answer your question, crafting for the expansion has become pretty simple. Most of what you can craft is given in the item descriptions of essences which you can collect throughout the game. Look here for a couple of links that will help you even further plus the addition of ways how to craft unique items. But be warned of possible spoilers.

Ummm..... The Walkthru isn't complete, according to a Dev post on the Bioware boards....

Spoiler
According to one of the Devs, the PC has 4 total possible endings in Mask of the Betrayer.

One of the most common reasons is that most people miss the Mask fragment in the lake.

Something like: Removing the curse from your soul, and you go on your merry way. This won't end the curse (as someonr else will eventually get it), and the Red Wizard leaves you (assuming you didn't Devour her). With this, I don't Imagine Okku (assuming you didn't devour him) would like you very much either)

I also heard about becoming a permanent guard of the Wall, and something about fighting the Gods...

I haven't gotten past Act one personally, so I can't attest to this.
but here is a link to a disccussion on the different endings.

WARNING! taking this link WILL spoil your knowledge of the endings of the game.

The Developer's Post on the number of endings is the second post.

I added a bit about the other two endings, but basically the walkthrough is as complete as we're going to make it.

Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

Good job on the walkthrough SWC. :)

However, you seem to have left out certain feats which are provided by weapons alone. (Or did I just overlook them?) Anyways, they are stuff like Spirits Ruin, Elemental Ruin and whatnot. I couldn't find any of the Ruin feats.

Mask of the Betrayer Code for Bugged Gann Ending

The line of code in the GameBanshee walkthrough for Mask of the Betrayer is inaccurate. I must have input that line in about 10 times before starting a search.

The correct code is as follows: (Note spoiler for those who've not completed the game)
Spoiler
DebugMode 1 enter
rs ga_global_int("Z_b_GannStays","1") enter
DebugMode 0 enter

I did a google search for ga_global_in and gannstays to get a pointer for the correct syntax. The post is from the BioWare forums, but I get a very weird link when I try to keep it in the spoiler tags.

I haven't yet tested to see if I can get the romance ending without inputting code.
I just tested the current game (version 1.12), and the ending is not bugged. There's no reason to input the console commands. However, if players are using an older version, they may wish to know the console commands in case they've reached this point under an older version.

Cheers!

Walkthrough clarification

From what I've seen, the iron golems work pretty much like they do in the pencil and paper version: use adamantine to cut through the DR, or use spells that don't allow SR, such as Melf's Acid Arrow. Yes, elemental damage on weapons gets through, but it takes much longer.

HTH, HAND.

Just a info :D

In Neverwinter nights 2, in ACT 2, at Ammon Jerro’s Haven, their's a way to do all the quest of all the demons. Dont do any of the quest, just take them all friendly. Begin to complet the quest at the last demon named Blooden(you start by the last until you reach the first) , you should be able to do some until you reach Hezebel. Just say that you decided to work with Baalbisan, and after you killed all the succubus, talk to her and say it was a misunderstood, and give her the true name. After this go talk to Baalbisan and you should have complete all quest.

Storms of Zehir

Is the staff working on a walkthrough for this expansion (Storms of Zehir)?
It's better to be a live jackal than a dead lion, but it is better still to be a live lion (and normally easier as well).

Just to let everyone know, we're finally working on a walkthrough for Storm of Zehir. Once we finish that, we'll write the walkthrough for Mysteries of Westgate.

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."
