I need Shani to do an autopsy and she said to talk at her place. DONT TELL ME THE WHOLE PLOT OR SOLUTION but the part I am having trouble with is getting in her house. Earlier granny kicked me out but if I re-entered she would let me in. But not this time and I don't know any other lead. I suppose I could talk to Shani again tomorrow in the hospital about it....Is that the next step? Give a hint please or if its totally lame just tell me how to neutralize the grandma. Don't reveal the plot of the chapter. A simple answer that you can't go in Shani's house until trigger X happens is what I am looking for....or you have to wait one day. etc

Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
It appears to be pretty random which responses you get from the Grandmother, and you can be kicked up a couple of times, however usually - one reply will let you in. Most of the time however. I have managed to be kicked out several times in a row with no chance to stay in, but I always managed to get up to visit eventually.
I never bought the gloves for her.

LOL when I first encountered her I was so mad, I got kicked out like 7 times and each time I had watch a stupid load screen! I kept wondering if the developers were having fun when they tried playing that part! Anyways, like everyone else said, there are a few options: I got a chance to help her cat fund or something and gave her 100 Oreos (Thats how I saw "orens" originally so thats what it is to me!) Another time she asked for some gloves, and once I was able to tell her I was from the hospital and was let in for free.
The first time I heard of 'Orens', I misread it as 'Oranges'. Laughing all over when I think about it. Anyway, as for Shani's grandmother, I only tried once and couldn't get in. Didn't bother to try again as I reloaded to a previous save to test out a response between two blacksmiths (the Dwarf and the Order) at that time. I'm going to try again later as I found out a way to get past her from some online game guide.phelot43 wrote:Anyways, like everyone else said, there are a few options: I got a chance to help her cat fund or something and gave her 100 Oreos (Thats how I saw "orens" originally so thats what it is to me!)
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

I didn't even know the grandma could cause problems or kick you out; first time I spoke to her she said something like "what did you bring me?" so I gave her something fairly valuable, like a ring or a chunk of cash, maybe 50 gold. Ever since when I enter the house she's all flowers and honey and says "go on upstairs" and that's it.
Grandma spoilers, don't look.
Oddly enough if you like to be efficient with your time and don't go in the detectives office (auto kicks you out of office at 12am, so you lose the whole day) till 11pm, you can spend the whole extra day, doing quest and she lets you in the house without even asking anything, until you start the investigation.
Spoiler
There are several ways to deal with her, so she never gives you problems, you can give here very strong alcohol (not beer or wine), there is a ring that will cause her to think your a .... (sorry can't spoil that one. ).
You get an item from a minigame that you need to give to helpful person in the Temple District (not an indoor person).
Additionally as mentioned you can give her gloves, but alot is random, so it's just such a huge pain in the ass, unless you have the booze or ring.

Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.
