BGTutu: what's the best armor for a Barbarian in the game?

BGTutu: what's the best armor for a Barbarian in the game?

I'm soloing a Barbarian, and am just wondering what the best armor in BG1 with Tutu would be (aside from Drizz't's armor... I can't see a Barbarian beating him fairly).

I just checked, and I used a normal suite of splint mail. Iirc there is a suite of splint+1 and a suite of chainmail +3, but a normal suite of splint mail in combination with a ring of protection +2 gives just as much protection (or more).
