Hello, gamegoers, I am new here. Anyhoo, I have an idea.
First of all, we all know this as truth in stats, skills, ect.
-Jedi Guardian = Jedi Weaponmaster = Sith Marauder
-Jedi Sentinel = Jedi Watchman = Sith Assasin
-Jedi Consular = Jedi Master = Sith Lord
Their stats, skill, and such are more or less equivalent, and each specific class has its own skills and such. However, I have a question:
How successful would one be mixing one group with another? Say, one started out as a Jedi Guardian, but then chose the way of the Sith Lord later in the game. Even though it would... gray each one's specific stats, it would encorporate a new kind of broadness to the game. It would allow a different degree of even-ness. The result, A Jedi Guardian/ Sith Lord Character, let's call him Bob, with an interesting array of skills. Due to the Jedi Guardian's combat-oriented aspects, it would have an edge in lightsaber and melee combat, but with the Sith Lord's Force-oriented prowess, it's force capabilities would be enhanced. However, it would not allow Bob to achieve the most advanced aspects of either class, which may prove as a disadvantage. So, would Bob be successful and easier to finish the game with due to it's wider array of skills and more even strenghts, or would his out-of-place attributes and Force-aligned abilites be too weak and untrained to prove of any use? Also, what of another combination; A Jedi Sentinel/ Jedi Weaponmaster combination, we will call Joe. Jedi Sentinels seem to be in the middle of the spectrum, with more or less equal abilities in both Force and Combat abilites, plus above average defensive capabilities. Add on the Combat techniques of the Jedi Weaponmaster, Joe would prove to be a more combat oriented character, but would have decent Force abilities as well. Would Joe prove to be an effective character, even moreso than Bob, or would their skills collide and prove to be a weak, flimsy character? So, tell me; has anyone here ever experamented with these components? And if so, what were the results?

I try to choose things that will complement the other class I'm planning on... for instance I like to start off as a Sentinel due to their high number of skill points per level, as well as their defensive capabilities. Then I either turn that into a weaponmaster/sith marauder for the sheer brutality of their melee combat skills, or a Jedi Master/Sith Lord for the Force Focus feat and the boost in Force points...
Or Sometimes I'll start out as a Jedi Guardian for the Force Jump feat (you don't get it if you start as something else then become a weapon master) and turn my character into a Jedi Master etc, so I wind up with a force-potent character that has mad skillz with a light saber.

Hmmm...that's what I was thinking. All possible combinations=
Guardian + Marauder
Guardian + Weaponmaster
Guardian + Assassin
Guardian + Watchman (These two would create a great Sneak Attackers)
Guardian + Lord
Guardian + Master
Sentinel + Marauder
Sentinel + Weaponmaster
Sentinel + Assassin
Sentinel + Watchman
Sentinel + Lord
Sentinel + Master (These would create Force potent characters with lots of skills)
Consular + Marauder
Consular + Weaponmaster
Consular + Assassin
Consular + Watchman (These would create a Force-potent character with defensive backing to make up for it's low Vitality)
Consular + Lord
Consular + Master
My goal is to create a character guide that lists all of the combinations, and tells you the pros and cons. You guys can help!

Ok, I'll help.
Guardian/Weaponmaster - boring. Combat was way too easy in the end game.
Guardian/Sentinel - Good melee combo. Force Jump, good skills, good defense, so-so force powers. Force Camouflage makes stealth generators unnecessary and sneak attacks are fun.
Guardian/Master - Excellent combo for combat, not as good for gaining xp through skills. I recommend doing Guardian first to get Force Jump.
Sentinel/Weaponmaster - Decent defense, good skills, pretty good at combat, so-so force powers. Sort of a Sentinel with extra combat skills.
Sentinel/Watchman - impressive defensive ability, lots of skills, so-so in melee or force power combat. Excellent stealth capability.
Sentinel/Master - another good combo. Good defense and high skills, Force Focus makes force powers potent. Combat ability is fair-to-middlin'.
Consular/Weaponmaster - Difficult to play in the beginning, rewarding in the end. I usually don't do this one as reversing the order gives Force Jump, and in the beginning melee combat is far more effective than force powers.
Consular/Watchman - The only advantage this really has is Force Camouflage and extra skills. Defense and melee combat is better than a straight consular/master.
Consular/Jedi Master - very difficult to play in the early game, very rewarding and fun in the end. Blasting just about everything you see with one shot of your favorite offensive force power... only trouble is, the (preventing spoilers here) big bosses at the end of the game aren't very susceptible to force powers and you'll need some decent combat capability.

Hoh it doesnt really matter which classes you take, my last was a guardian wep master and i had some 750 fp on level 50 and was able to stasis anyone and use storm endlessly... And well, 6 attacks per round and each damaged some 100-160 and 79 defence... You are right it was easy. I almost lost to sion though since i had very little hp left and he just happened to hit me... But the regeneration saved me
YOU DONT KNOW THE POWER OF THE DRUNKSIDE ill beat you up with my bottl ...lightsaber!!!And Drunk Side is a bar in KOTOR1... check these out! http://www.xfire.com/screenshots/drunkside/
