Mage Level Suggestions
Any1 have any suggestions as 2 what level I should be to take on the TotC Catacombs? I'm a Lv. 7 female elf mage. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx!

Is that the catacombs next to the celestial temple in Fargrove? I would think you need some combat ability which you can buy just by advancing your skill points.
Spoilers
Invest enough in armor to wear the LT Chain that you get at the Inn. Invest enough in poles strength and magical weaponry to wield the staff of scaris that you get from the mage in the mages guild. Have about 20 books or scrolls of Magic missile + fireball (in case a wraith (or is it spectre?) comes); Its better to have books because once you cast a scroll its gone forever but you never miss the effect of a book. Bring a regular weapon that you will use in combination with the ice weapon spell (forget the name..the spell that coats your weapon in ice); or try it with the staff of scaris not sure if thats possible. Bring some cure poison and cure wounds potions (or crystals). Some points in vitality (to take some hits), strength (as I mentioned to equip things), dexterity (to hit reliable), agility (to parry etc)
But the answer is yes you are high enough level provided you prepare correctly. Don't worry about trying the worst that can happen is you'll kill some things and gain a level, but have to go back for supplies (say if 3 wraiths spawn at once which can happen)

Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

Yep, that's the one I'm talkin about. But what about those stupid tomb mummies and spider thingies? Whenever I try to fight the tomb mummies, they always cast Freezing Touch, and I usually end up having to flee and pelt them with arrows. And the spider thingies are the ones that look just like the Giant Spiders, but smaller. I just don't know their official name, though.
Ne help on these two enemies will be greatly appreciated. Thanx!

the spider thingies you just kill with your staff of scaris. They'll die. If they poison you carry cure poison potions which you can buy at the from the woman in the area of the temple (she has a store I think its called an apothecary).
The tomb mummies....well it depends what you consider cheating. I consider enemies that can freeze me at level 7 a little unfair. You can pause the game and status effects wear off while the game is paused. There are numerous enemies who can spam status effects and I think the game would be very hard to beat if you didn't use pause.
Otherwise I think hit and run with high vitality (in case you get frozen and slashed up) and high dexterity (so you always hit and knock them back).
Generally the way I play is to use the troll xp to raise intelligence quite high early on but if you spent all that xp in other abilities you might stand a chance without pause. You could also raise honor and bargain high enough that you can buy and sell back for a profit. Then just fireball everyone with 1000 books of fireball :speech:
I wouldn't do that I tried to find a happy medium between too much cheese and just enough to make the game playable.
